Hi! I'm Vincent Li, a 3rd year co-op student at the University of Toronto specializing in Software Engineering and majoring in Mathematics. I like doing hackathons with my friends, learning about new technology, listening to (and playing a little) music, and of course playing video games!

WORK EXPERIENCE

AMD - Trusted OS + Bootloader Intern

May 2022 - May 2023

Developed secure processes to ensure a tamper-proof boot process on AMD's flagship consumer processors. Worked directly with hardware through C and ASM syscalls, in order to implement features related to firmware loading. Modified binaries and physical memory (DRAM) in order to test and verify behavior.

taq - Co-op Developer

January 2021 - August 2021

Vehicle dearlership CRM software that integrates the whole customer lifecyle into one web application. Worked with the company's C#, .NET and Microsoft SQL backend, Angular.js based frontend, and created business oriented unit tests.
